My Yoga Journey…

I had ‘tried’ yoga over the years, but never truly embraced the whole philosophical side of it? That all changed in 2021 when both my husband and I were hospitalised with Covid. I had to have a physiotherapist to help with my breathing. I was given various ‘breathing’ exercises to do which helped massively to aid my recovery. I then however went on to suffer with menopause symptoms, anxiety and hair loss.
That is when yoga found me…

I had heard about the philosophy behind yoga and began to do a little research. I started to practice a few hatha and yin yoga classes on YouTube, and began to attend regular yoga classes. After each class I felt more energised, calmer, stretched, focused, plus so much more. It really was life changing.
My anxiety, hair loss and menopause symptoms improved greatly, and I truly believe the yogic lifestyle was the reason. I wanted to share with everyone the benefits of yoga so early in 2023 I decided to do my 200 hour YTT training.
I am now fully qualified to guide and teach yoga and want to explore my yoga journey further with more training in Pranayama (breathing), Yin yoga and meditation…so watch this space!
